At the success meet of the film ‘Sankranthiki Vastunnam’, renowned music director S.S. Thaman made heartfelt remarks that have left the Telugu film industry reflecting deeply. Speaking about Telugu cinema, Thaman expressed his anguish, stating that while Telugu films are being celebrated internationally, there is a troubling trend of undervaluing them within the community. He also alleged that coordinated negative campaigns on social media have created an environment where even successful filmmakers hesitate to openly discuss their achievements.
In response to Thaman’s emotional speech, Megastar Chiranjeevi took to ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) to express his support. Chiranjeevi tweeted, “Your words were deeply moving, Thaman.
