With a month left for the release for the film, the makers of Dhanush’s Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam hosted special shows for a few celebrities, including actor-filmmaker SJ Suryah.
2025 promises to be quite a feast for Dhanush fans as their matinee idol would not just be seen in his avatar as an actor, but also a director. As a director, he is ready with Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, his third directorial venture after Pa Paandi and Raayan. Starring Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, and Mathrew Thomas in the lead roles, Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam is set for a February 21 release. With a month left for the release for the movie, the makers hosted special shows for a few celebrities, including actor-filmmaker SJ Suryah.

After watching the film, Suryah took to social media to express his love for NEEK, and said, “Had the privilege to watch NEEK with our international actor, director Dhanush sir. What an entertaining, young GenZ fun yet emotional, yet unique Movie it is. Sir, one question, how are you able to make such a breezy movie in these tight schedules that too immediately after Raayan. What a direction. Congrats to all the young guys, girls who all got introduced and acted in the movie. Brilliant performance.”
In response, Dhanush thanked his Raayan co-star, and said, “Thank you so much for taking the time and watching our film sir. We are so happy you liked the film and my team is super thrilled about your reaction.”

While Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam was initially planned for a February 14 release coinciding with the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the makers, Wunderbar Films, had to reschedule the movie after it was announced that Ajith Kumar’s Vidaamuyarchi would be hitting the screens on February 6. NEEK would clash at the box-office with Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon, which is helmed by Ashwath Marimuthu.
