As per a 123Telugu report, the film is expected to begin its pre-production in April 2025 and start shooting by mid-year, aiming for a grand release in 2026. The report also suggests that Atlee has demanded a hefty remuneration of Rs 100 crore for this project, which is on par with what top directors in the industry command. However, these figures remain speculative until officially confirmed.
Atlee, known for his blockbuster hits like ‘Jawan’ with Shah Rukh Khan, has been in the spotlight for his pan-Indian appeal. Initially, there were speculations about him working with Salman Khan, but those plans were put on hold due to budget constraints. Instead, Atlee has now locked in Allu Arjun for his next venture.
While there is no official confirmation yet, reports suggest that the film will be a period drama with reincarnation as its central theme. Janhvi Kapoor is rumoured to play the female lead, and Anirudh Ravichander is likely to compose the music.
He recently ventured into Bollywood production with ‘Baby John’, a remake of his 2016 Tamil film ‘Theri’. This action thriller, directed by Kalees and starring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi, marks Atlee’s debut as a producer in Hindi cinema.
Allu Arjun’s collaboration with Atlee is also expected to lead to the postponement of his project with Trivikram Srinivas, which was initially set to begin in the second half of 2025. The filming will now likely start filming in 2026.
