Sharing his excitement, he stated, “I am not part of Coolie; I just came to the sets as Lokesh is my friend & to witness Superstar Rajinikanth. I watched 45 minutes of the film. It will definitely collect ₹1000 crore.”
At the Dish TV Watcho Storytellers Conclave, Sundeep Kishan reiterated that he is not associated with ‘Coolie’ but emphasized his deep friendship with Lokesh Kanagaraj. He explained that while they share important milestones in their lives, they do not frequently discuss professional matters. Sundeep Kishan also reminisced about a cherished moment when Rajinikanth personally invited him for a meeting. He described the experience as surreal, as they discussed his work, and he received the superstar’s blessings, making it an unforgettable encounter.
Additionally, Sundeep Kishan shared an interesting personal philosophy regarding meeting his idols. He revealed that he prefers not to approach them until they recognize his work, citing instances where he refrained from meeting Aziz sir and Shafiq sir until they acknowledged him. However, Rajinikanth was an exception, and their meeting was truly special. Coolie features an ensemble cast, including Rajinikanth, Sathyaraj, Nagarjuna, Pooja Hegde, and Shruti Haasan. Reports also suggest that Aamir Khan might make a cameo. The film is expected to hit theaters in August 2025, raising anticipation among fans worldwide.
